This is not something I am a massive fan of. In fact, once the Christmas party was announced to be this week I knew something was afoot. We all got our invitations and scoured through the activities. At the bottom. In big letters. “Fancy Dress: Country Eccentric.” Well now I was in a dilemma, I still am, with less than 24 hours until the event itself and all I have to show so far is a flat cap from H&M. Why do people do this to us?
So by my reckoning I need – wellington boots, some sort of country looking shirt, maybe a sleeveless country jacket think and, if I can find something cheap enough, a waterproof barber looking jacket. It’s going to be a tough call though – I can’t exactly afford to spend loads on a costume we’ll only use for less than a day.
